Sculptural Ceramic Objects
Free-standing ceramic sculptures for consoles, shelves, and pedestals — art objects first, vessels second. Each is coiled and slab-built by hand in San Jose, California, with the raw, tactile surface my work is known for.
Some pieces are planned. This one was let happen.
Red, turquoise, and green land where they land; white glaze runs and pools; underneath, fine incised lines hold a quieter order surviving beneath an impulse. It's a piece about spontaneity — joy made solid, the gesture caught a moment before it fades.
It brings movement and color into a still room — for collectors and interior designers drawn to original ceramic art with a pulse. A piece for a console, a plinth, a shelf, or an entryway.
Hand-built from coils and signed at the bottom.
Materials: Sandy stoneware clay. Incised sgraffito surface with splashed and dripped colored glazes; raw unglazed base.
Dimensions:
Height: 8.5"
Length: 8"
Width: 6”
Care: Dust with a soft cloth; hand wash only

Each piece is hand-built in my San Francisco Bay Area studio, so no two are exactly alike. Finishes may appear slightly different in person due to natural lighting and screen variations. Processing time 2–3 business days.

A sculptural ceramic vase in the form of a woman — one-of-a-kind, hand-built for a calm, design-led interior.
She 6 carries herself the way a real body rests: soft, full, a little off-balance, leaning into the light. In warm beige stoneware with a sand-textured surface, she reads as skin more than stone — an organic, female-form vessel that brings warmth and presence to a console, a shelf, an entryway, or a bedroom dresser.
For collectors and interior designers drawn to original ceramic art with intention.
Hand-built from coils and signed at the bottom.
Materials: Beige high-fire stoneware clay. Glazed interior. Tactile, sand-textured unglazed exterior.

Please note: There is a small crack inside this piece that is not visible from the outside. It is stable and will stay as it is — it does not affect the vase's use or durability. With hand-built ceramics, small cracks like this can happen from time to time; it is part of the nature of the material and the making.

She 5 is a woman, caught mid-turn.
Her upper body tilts to the side and lifts toward a slender neck — never standing perfectly straight, always leaning into the light. The lower belly is full and round, the hips soft, and across them the clay holds a warm ochre blush from the firing, like sun held in skin. I don't sculpt a figure exactly — I shape the clay until it feels like a body. Each one comes out a little different, the way every woman is.
Hand-built from beige high-fire stoneware. Sand-textured and tactile, warm bone moving into soft ochre across the lower form. Glazed on the inside, bare on the outside.
She belongs in a quiet, carefully considered interior, or with collectors drawn to work that holds its own presence in the room.

She 4 is a woman.
I don't sculpt a figure exactly — I shape the clay until it feels like a body. A full lower belly, the soft turn of the hips, an upper body that rounds and leans, and a slender neck that lifts and opens like a head turning to look back over a shoulder. She stands a little off-balance, the way a real body rests when no one is watching — soft, full, at ease in herself.
Hand-built from beige high-fire stoneware. The surface is fine and sand-textured, warm bone with the faintest ochre coming through where the clay catches the light — skin more than stone. Glazed on the inside, bare and tactile on the outside.

She 3 is a woman, resting.
I don't sculpt a figure exactly — I shape the clay until it feels like a body. A full, round lower belly carrying its own weight, and above it an upper body that leans away to one side, the way a torso settles into a hip when you stop holding yourself upright. The neck lifts and opens at the top, turning slightly, like a head looking off. She is soft, full, and a little off-balance — at ease, not posed.

She has the quiet confidence of a queen. Her curves are soft yet full of strength, carrying both grace and individuality in every line. There’s something deeply feminine about her form, but also powerful—like she knows exactly who she is and doesn’t need to prove it. She stands with elegance, timeless and assured, reminding us that true beauty lives in being fully yourself.

This hand-built ceramic vase brings to mind sand, seashells, and the textures carved by wind and water along a shoreline. Its soft, wavy ridges resemble patterns left in dunes or the surface of a shell polished by the sea. The light, sandy white stoneware enhances that impression — warm, natural, and timeless.
Both sculptural and serene, this ceramic vessel feels like a fragment of the coast made permanent in clay. Its elongated, organic form makes it particularly effective in minimal interiors, where it functions as both art object and vessel.

I once opened the kiln to find that one side of this vase had cracked while the other remained untouched. In that moment, I realized how much it resembled me — and so many other women.
So much of our lives is spent trying to appear perfect, yet true perfection is never meant to be reached. We show the side of ourselves that feels polished and presentable, while quietly carrying another side — marked with cracks, wrinkles, scars, and traces of living. Far from being flaws, these marks are the heart of who we are.
This hand-built sculptural ceramic vase is part of the "Beautifully Imperfect" series, which honors women's natural beauty in its truest form — not as an unattainable ideal, but as something real, shaped by life itself. As a ceramic art object, it carries its crack openly, as a mark of pride. A deeply personal piece for collectors drawn to work with genuine conceptual depth.
Please note: The cracks are permanent and will not expand or change over time. Each piece is entirely one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated.

Form No. 1 is about time — the kind you feel in a surface before you can name it.
Two full volumes rest against each other under a crust: a crawling, mineral skin the color of sand and bone, dark marks like old water stains, pale glaze that ran once and stopped. It carries the stillness of things that have lasted. Not an object that decorates a room so much as one that quiets it, that makes the space around it feel more grounded.
