Lava Drift
This hand-built ceramic vessel draws its language from volcanic rock — the moment when drifting lava solidifies into organic, irreproducible patterns. The surface feels raw and elemental, like the earth itself: textured, powerful, and alive.
Each curve and ridge in this dark stoneware vessel tells a story of transformation frozen in time. A sculptural ceramic art object for collectors drawn to geological forms and the drama of dark clay, or for interior designers sourcing pieces with strong material presence for contemporary residential or hospitality spaces.
Materials: Black mid-fire stoneware clay. Glazed interior. Heavily textured, tactile exterior surface.
Dimensions:
Height: 9.5”
Diameter: 9.5”
Care: Hand wash only
One-of-a-kind, hand-built in my San Francisco Bay Area studio. Signed at the bottom. Processing time 2–3 business days.
Please note: every effort is made to represent each piece accurately, though finishes may appear slightly different in person due to natural lighting and screen variations.
