Handcrafted Ceramics

Raw clay, shaped into natural flowing forms, becomes modern ceramic works where artistry meets design and function.

Series “Beautifully Imperfect”

I once created a vase called “She.” When I opened the kiln, one side was cracked while the other remained untouched. In that moment, I saw how much it reflected me—and so many women.

We often show the polished side of ourselves, while quietly carrying another side—marked by cracks, scars, and traces of life. These imperfections are not flaws; they hold our stories, our growth, and the quiet beauty of being fully alive.

This became the inspiration for my series “Beautifully Imperfect.”

About

I'm Anastasia, a ceramic artist based in the Bay Area, California.

I create handmade ceramic vessels and wall art using coiling and slab-building methods. I love working with natural clay textures and finishes, letting the material speak for itself through organic forms and tactile surfaces.

My work draws inspiration from human stories, individuality, and the imperfect beauty of nature—turning experiences into meaningful ceramic art.
